An insight into Tanamera Wellness Spa

Tanamera was born 7 years ago as a natural product brand that promise efficacy and truth behind its brand image. No toxic chemical, coloring and artificial fragrance is used in its products.

Our products are even packaged in either environmentally friendly unbleached recycled packaging or recyclable containers.

Seven years down the road, Tanamera have evolved into a complete Spa range based on tropical herbs and essences. To complement its unique products, Tanamera also created a range of spa treatments based on Malaysian beauty therapies with emphasis on traditional Malay treatment.

Equipped with the experience of running 10 "traditional beauty salons" (as it was famously known before evolving into the "spa concept") in the early 90's, the Tanamera team creates SOP, manual and train therapist all over the world the art of Traditional Malay treatment.

Currently, Tanamera have successfully exported the concept of Traditional Malay spa treatment to countries like Germany, Denmark, Slovenia, Spain, Norway, USA, Singapore and hopefully soon, Australia and Japan.

Today, many 5 star spas and resorts practice Tanamera Traditional Malay spa treatments which are still considered unique compared to the normally found Balinese and Thai spa treatments.

Recently Tanamera have embarked on a new project that involves Tanamera mentoring entrepreneurs who want to integrate the concept of "Tanamera Traditional Malay spa" into their spa facility. The Tanamera team, with the help of associate Spa consultants creates menus, protocols, trains and equips spas with locally trained therapists.

The Tanamera team even prepares the conceptual designs and lends their name to these entrepreneurs. We hope to expand globally in the form of a franchise in years to come. In 2008, we partnered with individual investors to set up 4 Tanamera wellness spas in strategic locations around Malaysia.

Tanamera Vision, moving forward
We hope to be able to develop the Tanamera Wellness Spa model and use it as a vehicle to introduce the beauty of traditional Malay beauty treatments globally. At the same time, we aim to build a pool of trained local therapist for the global spa industry that has long been dominated by the Thais and Indonesians. May the tradition of our forefathers be successfully exported to the rest of the world
